All Aboard For Koh Chang!!!
Once you arrive at Laem Ngop there is a choice of piers from where you can catch a ferry to the island from. Centrepoint Pier (Tha Centre Point) or Laem Ngop Pier. You will arrive on the eastern part of Chang island so you will need to catch a Songthaew to the popular west coast of the island from there.
Daily ferries leave for Koh Chang from:
Centrepoint Pier at: 6.30, 9.00, 11.00, 13.00, 15.00.
Laem Ngop Pier at: 7.00, 9.00, 10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00 and 17.00.
A one way ticket from either is around 100 baht, return tickets will offer a discount. Journey time is approximately 30-45 minutes
Alternatively for those wishing to take there own vehicle on to Koh Chang. There are Ferries available from Thammachat Pier.
Thammachat Pier to Ko Chang Daily: 7.00, 8.30, 10.00, 11.30, 13.00, 14.30, 16.00, 17.30 and 19.00
Its not expensive to do so and dependent on the size of your vehicle cost is around 150 baht each way. Travel time is approximately 1 hour.
